I went back through my chrono files, shooting a Gamo 21.75gr pellet, a 36 shot string through my Akela out of the box yielded 833.92fps, 1st shot was 829fps/33.20fpe, last shot was 832fps/33.44fpe, standard deviation of 4.48 with a spread of 23, nice smooth bell curve, something definitely ain't right, my Cayden performs just as well.
It’s just doing what cranked up non-regulated PDC’s do. If that was your only complaint, Crosman could just turn the striker adjustment out 1-2 turns. Then you’ll start a bit slower….gain a bit of speed...and then fall off (a kind of shallow velocity curve).

If so then the shot string can be changed to be a "hunting" slope or a "target" curve. It's kinda like returning a car if the salesman left the temperature control all the way on hot and you didn't like it.
Best thing to do with those guns is to find a few extra spring to shoot how you like while keeping the original in case you want to go back to the power one day.
That is what I've been doing for years with my Rainstorms, essentially Kral and those Turkish guns are a copy of the Rainstorm,...takes a couple minutes to change hammersprings and results are very well worth it when you trying to get a different tune and keeping the original spring is always good to go back to factory setting if the occasion calls for it
From what I remember you’re going to want some .480”OD springs by 2.5” long in a variety of wire diameters from.035 “ and up. That should give you a decent amount of choices. I like Troy tend to use twin springs with zero preload , much better efficiency without the hammer bounce. If I did t already have too many guns to enjoy I might have bought a Kral to play with . One of the only manufacturers that give us Canadians some choices in models without spending 2000$.
I need to find a machinist that will make me 4 Rainstorm Hammerspring plugs with half of it smaller diameter to seat a Disco spring in it so to make the twin spring mod to my guns.
