Thanks for taking a look guys. Yeah I do think I got an extraordinary gun because I put a Barska 3-12x40 AO on her with a dovetail to weaver mount and set her up for a 50+ yards group. This is what the rifle did scoped with the first and only group of the day. It shot a .946" 5 shot group at 52 yards. I was using the Hatsan Strike pellets. I'm very impressed thus far.
I haven't had much time for shooting or anything else lately. Once I got a break and could even get on the computer, I somehow ended up on the Gamo website. Out of all the guns I have, none were a Gamo. I saw a few promotions they had going and I thought why not. I placed an order for a Camo Rocket Orange in .177 cal. They had the .22 available for 10 bucks more. I ordered the gun on Nov. 1st and got it today. Pretty quick. I opened up the boxes and the gun looked really nice. Even my wife wanted to shoot this one when she saw it. And she did today. Anyways this gun liked every pellet I threw at it. At least 6 different kinds. This gun was shooting so good that I moved a target out to 52 yards and shot a 2 and 1/2" 3 shot group open sighted fresh out of the box. This gun is amazing. And it was dirt cheap. The trigger is awesome too. I never was a trigger snob, but this trigger is not heavy at all , with a definite break at let off. It's the SAT trigger. The open sights on this gun also impressed me. Green in back , red up front. Then , as a finale to the shooting session, I was hitting tuna cans out to 50 and beyond with RWS Hobby 7 gr. wad cutters. Plus I almost forgot. I ran 5 crosman 7.9 premieres over the chrony and it was between 910 -915 fps. and the gun never dieseled and has a nice shot cycle. I might not even scope this one. I also took a few pictures. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
