I have a lot to say but the short of it is: absolutely not. This gun IMO should not have been released given the safety issue on the side.
Air blast on firing? Sounds like something is allowing blow by during the shot cycle. No thanks.
Watch the Mr. Hollowpoint videos on this, he shot his first shot with a hand over the top of the rifle... He said it was unpleasant (paraphrased). That's why I asked if they fixed it yet, or if a third party might have fixed it. I guess the answer is, "if it is cheap enough, maybe". And cheap enough needs to be really cheap. If you need a safety warning for that area, then it isn't safe! The noise doesn't really bug me, I have to shoot at a firearms range so par for the club.
So still not fixed. Maybe it's a feature to blow the sweat off your face while you shoot.I think the AEA in 50 has it beat on power, the Zeus certainly does at double the energy.
with the guns AEA is rolling out in the same price range ( generally less) the hammer makes no sense. That being said , the review on HAM was almost all positive
A guy I know in California just bought an AEA 50, mostly positive experience with his other AEA guns, Zeus has a known valve issue that he has to fix when parts arrive.
Take a look at that simple device
