Hi I am a new member and I would like to know about the air rifle parts to rebuild my tech force 89. 22 cal. It still shoots @ 825 fps @ 21 .5 ft. Ib's. With cphp. It is shooting lower since new in 2009. From compassico. And has always cocked with a crunch! Thank you. Wild willie.

A tf89 .22 at 825fps don't need rebuilding. Re-zero and shoot it.

I had one and really liked it, especially the trigger. What do you mean when you say crunch?

When I cock the rifle it does not feel smooth. You can feel the spring grind against the innard slightly. Not as smooth as my stock black hawk. My tech force has always done this.others have posted the same thing . It has 1500 shots through it. Bill

The only around way the grind is take it apart and see where it is rubbing. You can use old school buttons or a plastic wrapped around spring. Really all depends where the rub is, or just leave as is and shoot. Or even better Molly the innards

I have an RS2 variant of your AG and got rid of the spring rubbing the piston with a plastic sleeve inserted inside the piston then greased it up sparingly. I used a plastic from a gallon vinegar jug and still holding on after 6yrs or so. While I got her open I did a de burr on any sharp edge on the metal that moves. I used Moly-Graph® Lithium Grease recommended and used by Mike at Flying Dragon when he was still a member here. It's basically what's called lube tune to smoothen out shot cycle of springer AG. Here's the grease >
