So I like to shoot open sight and scoped and I mix and match scopes to rifles.
I figured I'd try to mount fresh and centered this scope mounting on a R9 .177
Seems the older I get the harder to hold everything centered ..lol.. but I managed to get it best I could
So here's the result at 25yards.... The wide ones were on me (at least 2 of them premature squeeze on hair trigger)

So Deeco, if you mirror method(ed) that scope and got that grouping without turret adjustments.. I'd say you are "good to go" on that R9. I always use a mirror method on my scopes, especially the ones that sit atop springers, learned from reading here years ago about keeping the internal reticle springs as "stress free" as possible to account for the forward-rearward recoil. I will shim front or (mostly) rear ring before cranking a turret to tightly.

I'm having issue with that R9 but, with that I assuming the rear blade is defective.(open sighting)
Thats bad for me seeing I shoot open more then scoped.
With open and the blade dead center it was dead on then out of the blue I started missing the whole paper. So I hung a big cardboard and my shots were now bad left , bad. To get back close the blade was almost all the way out if I'd adjusted it anymore it would of fell off ..lol.
Anyway pushed the blade with my thumb and it moved and gave a click like if it jumped a notch. Then I was to be he right bad.
So with it pushed over right I re centered the blade and looked good on that but now was high as heck. So I just came in and left it near zeroed at 30 . I'll test it out tomorrow to see if it still holds true or moved off zero again.
One thing this R9(and this is a replacement rifle) leaves a lot to be desired for it's price point. What a joke.
