It has been a long time since I last posted but life has been crazy! I also got a new toy and it is the FX Impact M3 in .30cal. This is the sniper edition of the model with 700mm barrel and 580cc bottle.

I have been shooting with it for some times now and it seems that the gun needs to be "seasoned" so does the barrel. I have had a significant improvement in the ES and STD readings after getting around 5 tins of pellets through it.

Hoping some others will get a shot tomorrow or today to get their cards submitted.

Shooting Date: 4/1/22
Shooter: Montana_Airgunner   Division = not classifed (Member)
Distance: Prickly pear shooting range 100 yards
Gun: RFX IMpact M3 .30
Optics: Bushnell Match Pro 6-24x50
Ammo: FX 44.75gr .30cal
Wind: 4mph said the weather broadcast but it was barely breezing at all.
Group:50/50; 1X via BallistticX  Group = 1.54"
Position: Bench Rest seated, UTG Recon 360 bipod and fist on the back

I shot around 15 targets that day and I got a couple almost as good ones but this was the best for the day. I got tighter group that wasn't hitting the bulls eye but I have attached it also as a reference material.

Way to go AJ. Good to see someone shooting these again. Maybe you can entice more to join in. I've really slacked off in the airguning department. Hope I get the fever again soon.

AJ, please submit your target for NUAH memberships, you will qualify as in the Sharpshooter Division....

Jari, your tightest group is on the target with the lower score (46/50) we count DOWN when a line is touched for the Match scores.... For the match, you would be better off submitting the other target, with the 2.5" group, as it scores 47/50.... Since we only allow ONE target to be submitted per caliber, please make your choice, and in future only post the one target you are submitting....

Nice David

Btw. Check your printer scale settings. You give unnecessary handicap for others now

Good shooting David, your score will be even better once you get the target to the right scale. Looks like your eight ring is closer to 3.5" than the correct 4" eight ring.

My printer will clip the outer ring if I go to 100%, will that still be it admissible target?

As long as your eight ring measures 4 inches you should be good to go! You could try a few test runs on say 97%, 98% etc to get the 8 ring to the 4 inch mark if needed.

Yes, I have no problem scaling the target it's just that the very outer ring gets clipped if I go to a 4 inch, 4 MOA, center bull.

If your shot goes to the outermost ring of the paper, it's probably not worth submitting anyway, so I wouldn't worry about that. Weird how that works with your printer. Mine clips off the bottom of the target down where it says "Range....Group"
As long as that eight ring measures 4" on the ruler, your good.
Every printer is different

I can print nearly out to the side edges in WORD but gets weird on .PDF's. The drivers are as 'updated' as possible so there's no more I can do. I will print some at work and see if I can scale them up a little.

Thank you all for your feedback, I hope to lob some .22's today.

Firewalker - Your target as submitted scores 47/50, not 48, because the shot at 5 o'clock cutting the 9 ring scores 8 (we score down, not up on a line touch).... If the 4 MOA ( 8 ) ring measures 4", the entire target fits easily on 8.5 x 11 paper, with 1/4" on either side.... You may have to print without margins, and try adjusting the percentage until the  ring measures exactly 4.00"....

I scored you as a Sharpshooter, per your request and your NUAH qualification submission.... Congratulations, and welcome to NUAH!....

Was raining last night into the early morning, but around 7am it was absolutely calm (wind 0-5mph). Grabbed a target, gun, pellets and sent 5 down to see what I'd get. The first "cold bore" shot went low and left (6-ring). The next three landed in the 9 and 8 rings, the last went low and righ (6-ring). Figured I'd submit as it's my best results so far with a .177. Shot from my deck to the post out back, lasered at 105 yards. Used 9 power on the scope for all my shots.

I like it. Bolt system is cool. So close to real deal.
Cant say picky or not. Have shot it under 200 rounds and only those Atp 31gr.

Finally have a submission good enough to enter-never know when I'll have time to shoot again; so entering this one:

Date Shot: 4-16-2022
NUAH Division Class: Member
Shot by: JuryRigger
Distance: 104-ish yards (Google Earth 103 yards; plus two more paced off to be sure-can/will provide the Earth-view snip to moderator upon request)
Gun: .22 Diana 350 N-Tec
Optics: UTG TrueHunter 3-9x40
Ammo: 18-grain H&N Barracuda
Wind: 9'o'clock 5-8 MPH (Maybe more-hard to tell)
Group: 3.99", score 39/50 (Mayyybe 40/50-one shot too close to call for sure)
Position: Seated on stool; gun rested on sticks
A bit windy; but I've had so few opportunities to shoot that I grabbed it while I had it-had to hold on about the left side of the target to account for the wind; and a possible zero error-but didn't do too badly  :D:

JurryRigger, Great shooting!!!

Those Diana 350's are a handful, but you're doing excellent with yours. I'm hoping in the next few weeks the weather becomes more agreeable for distance shooting, as of late it's been gusty around these parts. Getting 6"+ of drift with pellets so far, and wind hasn't been consistent enough for simple hold over. All part of the "game" I guess.

At any rate, great shooting!

Last testind did no go well. My usual location was occupied and got so mixed wind second place. Go tomorrow again play with it.

There is something different what i have to learn with it. Maybe same deal what messed me with War Cobra. There was really heavy hammer weight. That will make shooting difficult because when fire it move different. Like bigger caliber firearms but mirrored recoil. Maybe not case with m24 but just wild quess.

I will add something to shooting table where push from shoulder to bipod. Then i know

Jesse

Thank you  :D

Still have a couple things to sort out, but I'm happy with the performance at distance for a springer. Those two high shots were from inconsistent cheek weld (I believe), that caused the gun to "jump" a little. Either working on consistency or weighing the fore end of the stock should resolve that...  ;D

Still not as impressive as the group you shot with the 350 N-Tec, those take much more effort/dedication for consistency, in my opinion  ;)
