This one I can't help you on since I've never owned or used either scope. I did have the Walther version of the rifle for a very short while but gifted it to a friend several years ago.

Best I can say is email BSA and ask if that model scope is magnum springer rated. If his gun is the full power version, the recoil will eat scopes without a very good one rated for magnum recoil
and a very good one piece scope mount.

If those are your only choices, I would go with the BSA, and either good heavy duty Weaver mounts, or the same in a one piece mount perhaps with cantilever to get proper eye relief, as the 125s do have a larger LOP, longer stock.

Like ke I said it n you other thread . The Gamo scopes I got are pretty sad.

They work but at a low level and bust easy or loose there focus.

Don't forget to that BSA is under Gamo so it's not the good ol bsa of past.   You just don't know how deep Gamo has it's claws dug in to them today./ Quality standards.

Like I said this scope game of n any springer is a dice roll .. you buy you try . If it works great then great if not you know better next time.

Also a scope that works well on one may not on the other..

Both may well come out of the same Chinese factory, just with different names and one has IR, one doesn't.

I'd compare the warranty service.  I've returned a couple BSAs in the last 10 years. I think I had to pay shipping to them as well a enclose a $10 check,  but I received new scopes both times and one was an upgraded model since they were out of stock on the one that broke.

BSA was purchased by Gamo in 1985 or 1986, and at that time they were not yet selling optics.
