I know life gets in the way sometimes, and Kevin may just be having a temporary glitch.... Enjoy the match, I will summarize the results in early November.... Since this match runs until the end of this month, I think we should run the November match from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30....

Sounds great, thanks. I'll try to get my old butt out there for both matches!

Thanks Bob, wish I could play. I’ll be at sea until…..maybe early Dec. so I guess that puts me out until next years series.
I’ll still try to get some targets up when I get home and see if I can improve my standing a little.
You guys have fun and stay classy.

Thanks for putting this up Bob.  Got a PM from Kevin and you are right, he just got real busy.  I was going to post my targets but one of them wasn't that great.  Since the match is being extended, I think I'll wait until after this Tuesday when I hoping to be able to shoot a couple more 100 yard targets.

Well, I went out on Tuesday and shot four targets at 100 yards.  It was a beautiful morning but just couldn't keep all five inside the 10 ring so I'm submitting the targets I was going to post the other day.  On the .25 Maverick target, I thought I might have gotten a 5X but when I went up to pull the target, I saw that two of the shots just broke the 10 ring.  Maybe next time.

Nice shootin' Mike.
Bob - thanks for putting Mike's submittal at the top. I'm getting on board every couple of days, and should be getting back to a more normal schedule now where I can get on daily.

Yep, really good shooting Mike. Almost got the treasured 5X target.

Had similar targets (almost 5X) myself this month.  Have a couple I will post, if I don’t get out this week.

Can’t imagine ever shooting a 5X if the ‘X’ ring was a half inch in diameter, given how hard it is to do it with the current one inch X ring currently.

October challenge was just 'that' for me - a big challenge.   I probably shot about 45 NUAH cards over about three outings and cherry picked the best I could do of course.  The good news; I did shoot a lot of 50/50 cards, and a bunch of 49/50 cards with one or more in the 'X' ring.  The bad news, I could not get a 4X for anything and I did try.  Always fun and looking forward to seeing a lot more cards before the 31st.  My submission is the #12 target on 10/14 with the Safari - first picture below.

As an aside, wanted to add an important finding to shooting JSB RDs 25g.  I have slowly come to the conclusion that my random flyers with the MRDs are due to NOT sorting or sizing pellets.  I have resisted doing this because it is such a PIA.  However, after looking at what the top BR competition EBR shooters are doing as a normal practice ( i.e.,  see the recent EBR posts on AGN which was held by AoA in Ocotober), I do believe I could eliminate some or maybe most of my flyers at 100 yards.   Disclaimer:  Wind trumps all of the above, but on a still day with littler or no wind, I think this would help.

Shooting Date: 10/14/21
Shooter: Tom Boylan
Distance: Outdoor range; 100 yards lazer'd
Gun: Daystate RW Safari .22 HP
Optics: Sightron 10-50X60 MM; 2FP
Ammo: JSB 25g RDs
Wind: 5-10 mph
Group:50/50; 3X; 1.10" CTC measured
Position: Bench Rest seated; Rear Bag and Accu-Tac Bipod

Great shooting, Tommy.... However, which target are we supposed to be looking at?.... It's 1 target per caliber, remember....  ;)

Yes, I'm that lazy!....  ::)  ;D  :-[

No problem Bob.

See My last sentence, first paragraph.  #12 target ( Safari .22 HP ) is my submission for October.  The other ( RAW) was close but not as good  Actually both guns are .22 caliber.  I only have one .25 caliber (Taipan Long), and it can’t compete at 100 yards.
