I’ll start off with my temporary range that I shot off of the other day. From the roll up door in the shop across the field to the targets.
Heading back to Los Ranchito in the morning to shoot a re-qual target in case I cant find my qual target out there. I will be shooting from a different location and will get some pics of that set up/range.
This picture attachment system is #@$%@#$ frustrating. I have met the requirements and still unable to upload a jpeg.
-
Some old photos a couple years back. I put out 3 to 4 targets at a time now.
-
Very nice Fussell, looks like you have a Range of targets to shoot at.
Testing photo

Alright, you have the photo attachment mastered now. Great place to shoot!
I have so many targets I can't keep up with them.

Here's my range! I had to hack it out of the woods, but it's nice and shady most of the time. I set the range up temporarily to do last year's virtual Extreme Benchrest, but I enjoyed it so much that I put in permanent backstops at several ranges. The steel plates are at 35, 50, 75, and 100. Now I have a better/bigger steel pellet trap at 50 yards that I do most of shooting at. I need a bigger bench, but the old Workmate just keeps on serving.

Here's my 60 yard range. I've added some things since I filed this, but it's raining today.

Here is my range, c/w the bench I made and my transportation....

It's a measured 100 yards, but I can move the target stand and bench to different locations in the pasture and get up to 250-300 yards.... It's on a private ranch, I just have to make sure there are no cows in the part of the pasture I'm using....

Built a portable backstop on a sledge so I can drag it around my property.
In the second picture it is set up at thirty five yards. Or twenty five yards from the picnic table. To the right of the backstop is a pellet trap box at thirty yards and to the right of the pellet trap is an armored squirrel feeder. If I drag the backstop through the hedgerow I can go out to 150 yards

Wow, really enjoyed looking at everyone's set ups and ideas.
Years back when I was shooting Field Target, I made this contraption to roll about the yard. Made it easier to sit and shoot six targets in a row without having to get up and move the target for every yard. I used it to determine my hold overs at every yard from 10yds to 20yds. Came in handy for focusing at each yard and mark my scope wheel accordingly.
-
Looking really good guys, I am so jealous of those target set ups. I just have to shoot junk and scrap iron.
So, my little set up this morning. M-105 trailer with Caldwell table. Shooting the FX Elite .25 with Huma reg. Started at 65 yds (box on the ground) and then to 100meters/109yds (Old air tank with pellet trap on top).
Finished that string and then took it apart and adjust the regulator down some. Now I am at 860+-5, so about the time I got her back together a front blew in and the winds took over.
-
this is a range. There are many like it but this one is mine.
-
You guys are really giving me the itch to get my range set up at the new diggs.
Unfortunately I still have alot of stuff to get done before I can get back to the airguns and me time.
Keep those great ideas coming... at this point my range set up is a blank 100 yd slate.

Super nice berm there Robert. Especially for PBs.

My bench is on my patio. From there I shoot straight back to my 60 yd range and westward to my 70 - 100 yd range.

Looking good guys, lot cool ideas floating around out there.

I just noticed that you couldn't make out my target / spinner rack that I have at the tree line 60 straight back.
-
Nice rack.... wait, what? :o :-[

Lol..lt.dan
Man I scratch my head and think its never get boad shooting at all that or just overkill...lol..
Then think , man I glad I did not hav to mow the grass around that obstacle course..
👍... I like it.
Funny it seems no matter how much you got to shoot at you seem to want that one more thing out there to shoot up. Or have that added twist..😁

No problem mowing around them because they are all movable.
I'm always adding to the collection. The more the merrier. I have zero cost except for paint. Scrap metal from my son's place of work.
No one ever gets bored shooting at my range.
Right now at this minute I have 134 spinners set up. If I included my little shillottes that's 40 more. I have 30 more spinners on a rack that is on my PB range right now. So it's not unusual for me to have 200 spinners decorating my range.
-
Dang Dan... I want my range to be just like yours when it grows up.
-
I have to break mine up... My "short range" is 35 yard in the back yard off the porch.
The "Long range" is 120y off to the side of the house.

You can definitely do it.
It helps if you're a welder and even more if your son is a welder with free access to scrap punch-outs and cut-outs.

Nice Hoosier, good looking place.

Thanks Traxx...

I'm super tankful that I get to shoot to my heart's content on my Airgun Range Deluxe! 😊
I usually end up spending all day, because it's quite a drive to get there, and the set-up requires a lot of work....:
● Loading the car up as if I was taking the family camping for a couple of weeks.
● Clearing the farmer's junk out of the way that the cow farmer has placed in the way of my pellets and slugs.
● Carrying my own junk from the car over a fence to my shooting table.
● Chasing the cows away while I do this, until I have build up a security perimeter around my shooting table, using logs, pallets, and wire. Otherwise, the cows dump over my shooting table, like they did about a dozen times before.

Definitely top notch Scott.

What can I say Matthias. You are definitely a devout airgunner.

What can I say, Dan. Definitely devout — not just in airgunning, but still only saved by grace. 😊

-
Lou, the more I look, I could see me spenting a LOT of pellets there! ;)
-
Where is Privateer in all this?
That was the most fun "Home Range" I have been to yet.
Who else has army men, peeps, call bell, a saw blade, and hub caps out to 100 yards? 8)

My "range" is always in progress... But here's what it is so far.
Photo 1, tree at ~25 yards with the board for plinking (posting targets too), the target stand between barn and shed at 30 yards and an old sawhorse/board at 50 yards with various steel targets
Photo 2. A steel "prairie dog" target at 80 yards. Behind that between the trees is a post for my 100 yard targets (105 yards via range finder, if you zoom in you can see)
Was going to do a close up of the 100 yard post, but file size too large...
Currently weather is keeping me from shooting :( ;)
-
That last photo didn't post..
-
I am just working on the 100 yard airgun range, the 500 yard PB range is just to the left but that one has berms, the AG range is pretty flat ground.
-
Some of the 30 and 35yd stuff.
