Title: I need some Crosman parts.
Post by: bantam5s on June 14, 2021, 09:06:40 PM
Can you even get parts from Crosman right now ?

If so, I need the part # for the 2260 wood stock , trigger housing,  and stock screw lug.

I can't help you with the part numbers but I have also ordered parts for my 1077 and the 13xx guns recently. I even ordered two camo stocks from the custom  shop. Just give them a call once you have the part numbers and if they have them, you can get them.

Thanks.
Hopefully they have 'em, It's been a while since I last ordered parts from them and heard the kung-flu had interfered with getting parts.

I have ordered quite a few parts over the last few months with no problems.  I had to call the orders in and sometimes had to be on hold for a bit before talking to a rep.

That's how it's been for me every time before,  so I suppose all is normal.

Me not much time during business hours to call so rarely order from Crosman, worth the bit extra to me to by 2nd hand or from small airgun dealers.

Everywhere else I found the 2260 stock it was about $100, iirc it cost a fraction of that from Crosman the last time I bought one.
Other than that, I have bought a part or two from other places.

Thinking about it now, I'm probably going to go with a marauder trigger group and make a traditional blued steel trigger guard.
I'll just order that complete unit from a dealer, about the most affordable way to eliminate the plastic trigger group.

I'm redoing the " American boy " 1300kt rifle BTW, it didn't look too bad in this picture a couple years ago but there were things that just didn't show up.

i had some issues with stock anchoring because I didn't know about that stock screw lug, and I want to eliminate as many plastic parts as possible.

I also now have a left handed breech / bolt to use, and have since gained the skill / confidence do a proper job with the stock this time around.
Well my skill is definitely better than it used to be at least.

Looks like the numbers in that parts diagram are outdated, they emailed me a current one to look at.

The email didn't go through,  but I found another diagram.
The # was wrong again,  but this particular employee found the right number for me.

The shipping was only $4 too  :o did they go back to the universal $4 shipping for parts ?

That's what I see most of the time, unless I order barrels, etc....

Interesting.
I remember the higher shipping cost when I ordered a few barrels from them, but don't remember what it was when I ordered the 2260 stock last time.

New here so not sure if it’s common knowledge. But In Canada any ways. You Can order Parts directly from crosman.ca. Shows the price part number and stock. And convent online orders. No calling in. I would of thought it was just as easy in the state’s but maybe not?

I just ordered  3 sight posts for a 2300s,  and got two and a roll pin for somthing else.  I tried emailing customer service but no answer, so called the yesterday morning.  I was fourth in the waiting que, and only took about a 5 minute wait. The lady who answered said they had a new girl in parts, and would take care of it and ship another out that same day.

Honestly It would be easier to be able to order online, You have to look up the part number to order anyway, so most of us are online to do that.

That might be easier, but it's a pleasant change to be able to talk to a pleasant person and receive good customer service.

Plus this is about the only time I can think of where I find myself put on hold for a call I was excited to make, at the end of the phone call you receive an order number for airgun parts that you get to wait for like a kid on Christmas.

Name one other call you don't dread making when you know you'll probably be put on hold ?

You can't beat Crosman or Daisy for their customer Service people!

I called MyPillow.com customer service the other day, and was told that my wait time was approximately 1hour 30 minutes !!!
I hung up in less than 5 seconds, laughing all the way!

I love their pillows and just purchased 4 this month , but haven't needed to call their customer service yet thankfully.
