Hey all, hope you are having a good morning. I wanted to leave a bit of praise for the tune I recieved, but also the great customer service as well as polite professionalism.
First, the gun is VASTLY improved, particularly over my own attempt with a vortek kit. Apparently i was a little liberal with the grease when i put it in. Now the gun is shooting right around 882fps, with h&n ftts .177. The recoil is better, and the shot cycle feels snappier, although there is probably a better way to describe it.
I took it, after only putting around 100 pellets through to get the drop, to my second attempt at a field target match. On my first match i had used an aa s400, and scored around a 21. Going to the match, my only goal was to shoot higher than that. I did not ever think I would more than double the score, as well as shoot the highest score in the spring hunter class that day with a 44. I do not believe i would have had chance at that with my own "tune" attempt.
I was also impressed with Roberts customer service, his willingness to call and speak to me to find how he could best get my gun right for me.
Then few weeks later, he noticed that i had sent the original spring, wich he had overlooked, and to be honest I never would have thought/remembered I sent it. He gave me a call to let me know of the oversight, and to make it right by sending a refund for the price of that part.
All in all, for the price, and service he gives, I would absolutely recommend him to anyone, especially if you feel like you could be getting more out of your rifle.
