Hey Airgunners, looking to put together a fun shoot in the spring 2018 in Newfane, VT. This will be hosted by Dale (aka Slippy117).
There seems to be a number of attempts, here in New England, but doesn't seem to ever materialized. Let's try to make this FS happen, and be something of an annual event. I'm going to start PMing anyone I see that's local(CT, ME, MA, NH, NY, RI, Canada?) and give them a link to this thread.
So, if you have any sort of an inkling of an interest, reply to this thread.

I still haven't made it up to start clearing the lane yet, keep getting snow dumped on us, and my side x side with my plow is in the shop. But when I do start clearing, i will update all the boards.

There's no deadline here, Dale. Just do what/when you can at your convenience. If it goes into the fall...it goes into the fall. Its a fun shoot after all.

Its still a ways off right now. But once there is a set date, ill post it up.

It's good to see some Ma and New England shooters active. I've know about NE AirGuns for a while the only hurdle I've had getting there is work getting in the way, or other pellet gun shooting events. Anyways I'm down to get together, maybe set up a few field target lanes for a small demo course to try out. You may be able to get a few more air gunners from upper state NY and even a far as Rochester or Long Island if the cats(other FT shooters) can be herded. This is the calendar of event for FT in the north east. http://www.bcsportsmen.org/ft/schedule.html (http://www.bcsportsmen.org/ft/schedule.html) Planning the event on a weekend when there isn't a shoot might increase attendance. Also just because I and others shoot FT doesn't mean we don't have other toys ;) Anyways I'm down to meet up if there aren't any conflicts.

I would probably go for it. If you can send out info on motels in area in case it to far for a day trip I’m In NY south of West Point.

My wife is from Maine, maybe I could ship her and the kids up there. Then move before they return. :)

Newfane is 2 hours plus drive straight up I-91. I can attend.
I do field target matches in CT. I can setup a 3 lane 9 target match for fun.

Xraycer, thanks for alerting me to this thread. I'm about 2.5 hrs away, which will make it difficult to attend, but I'm interested in case my schedule clears up. Any dates considered yet?

I am interested. I'm always busy, but if things dovetail well I would be there.keeping an eye on the details and date, when known.

I havent forgotten about this the property in vermont still has anout 2 feet of snow down. I am still planning on hosting this. It will probably end up late spring early summer.
