Title: New airgun regulation in The Netherlands, holy sh*t. :-(
Post by: Harold999 on October 28, 2016, 03:13:05 PM
The Netherlands, one of the few European countries where there are no regulations on airguns at all (even suppressors are legal), well that's most likely gonna chance.
Our parlement will debate on november 3 about a possible new law: airguns more powerfull than 59fpe/80Joule will be considered as a firearm.

Our laws on firearms are very strict (only a permit after 18 months membership of a shooting club and you need to visit that club at least 18 times a year and do competitions etc), so it's bye bye bigbore airgun for a lot of folks.

It's not 100% decided yet but it will be most likely.

As Americans we enjoy many freedoms others around the globe do not ... But have to share my feelings on this current BIG BORE craze happening here in the states as well.
When an air gun becomes powerful as powder burners that are regulated ... they need to be categorized with them as well.

It is a VERY unpopular viewpoint to take ... and just a ticking bomb following what happens time & time again where 1 person does a stupid and everyone else pays for it !!

Flame suit on ...
