So I am trying to add a tank to my Disco without cutting the tube. Since the fill cap is already tapped for 1/8 npt and the asa I got is tapped for the same, i am thinking about using some brass pluming fittings to make the bridge. Part of my thought is that is easier to get billet elbows in brass than it is in steel. I am also trying to get everything locally as I despise online shopping. I am modeling my thoughts on a qb78 conversion I saw on air gun nation or the Canadian one, that just tapped the end cap and used what looks like standard pipe fittings to go to the asa and running at 1200ish psi. That string was made by one of the members here, but I cannot remember their name. My goal pressure range is around 1k-1.5kpsi. My fpe goal is around 25 with cp 14.3gr. Is this reachable with stock internals or do I need a mrod valve stem and porting? Before I fill the set up with air I do plan on trying to do a rough hydro test on the construction (tips welcome), also according to engineers tool box and a couple of other sites, 1/8 black pipe should be good for 5kpsi, finding info on brass is a bit harder.Side note, brass pipe and nylon bushings make a descent mds hammer with very little machining.
Are those foster fittings between the asa, the bleed valve?, and the gun.
