Engineering- Research & Development / Re: Trying to add pressure sensors to LDC testing.« Last post by WobblyHand on Today at 09:27:27 AM »There definitely is a cylinder of air being hustled along and ejected ahead of the pellet even getting to the muzzle. And some high pressure air flowing around the pellet just after the pellet clears the muzzle. After that, hmm, I have difficulty conceptualizing the chaotic flow. 2
German AirGun Gate / Re: I have read the HW50 .177 vs .22 Thread Until My Eyes Crossed!« Last post by Fuzzy on Today at 09:21:45 AM »I would second Yogi. My HW 50 is in .20. I also have a .22 HW30 so what do I know! A 177 would be choice between the two calibers you already have.

Daisy Gate / Re: Me and the Daisy 880« Last post by RichH on Today at 09:17:26 AM »Try different pellets at 10 pumps. It is a multi pump air rifle not a 308, it doesn't make as much power as a 22 short even pumped 20 times. Be responsible, if you shoot at something alive then pump at least 10 times, keep shots within your capability to hit the target reliably. I have killed hundreds if not thousands of squirrels over my 50+ years with an 880 it is up to the task as long as the person behind the trigger does their part. I was making the point that accuracy trumps power..................but I've tried EVERY single .177 pellet currently made and all those ever made and it's still more accurate at 7 than 10. Still use 10? 4
Bargain Gate / Re: GX L3 Dual Battery Powered Compressor on Sale!« Last post by Rat Sniper (AKA: PaulT58) on Today at 09:09:58 AM »I'm down to 3, this will be #4, but I'm listing the Benjamin Recharge soon. It was my back-up, but it's not being used and has no other purpose, so it will go!

Bargain Gate / Re: GX L3 Dual Battery Powered Compressor on Sale!« Last post by Rat Sniper (AKA: PaulT58) on Today at 08:58:51 AM »Once I get it I'll do a quick review and let you know what I think. I hear it's pretty quiet, so use in the woods might be a good application for it. I just wanted the convenience of having a small compressor on hand so I'm not constantly going inside to my other compressor to refill. My intension was to get the smaller, 1 battery version, but it was $279.00, and for just another $80 I was able to upgrade to a faster model with an hour battery life instead of the 30 minutes the smaller one had. It's listed on Amazon for $459.99, a $100.99 more than getting it direct from GX Pumps!

This gun is a laser. Tack driver. Absolutely phenomenal actually. I lubed up the plastic to metal bits with super lube grease 92003, cleaned the barrel, cleaned the baffles cuz Eff it why not. And it's so accurate. And hard hitting. Got it zeroed for 65 yards, shoots well and solid. Penetrates frozen cans, and depending on pellet. . .it'll destroy the inside if it doesn't penetrate. 10
