So today i was out rabbit hunting and i missed a perfect shot at 30 yards and i. An only figure one thing that could have made me miss such an easy shot... I switched my power from 10x to 8 x for a better feild of view. Would this change my point of impact of my zero? I had it sighted at 20 yards hours before ... I was useing my benji disco in .22
Glad you pointed that out Michael as the OP did not say anything about using a mil dot scope and using hold over or under. I assumed he was not based on his post but we know what assuming does So I guess we need Jake to clarify if he was indeed using a mil dot scope and applying hold over or under.
It was a mildot scope a centerpoint 4-16 x no hold over or under aim dead on right about center mass going for a heart shot as i only had a few seconds window for shooting opportunitys. I did also have my reticle lit up i dont think that would make a difference too much ... But who knows its peob just a pos scope
The scope will be easy to test. Put a target out and shoot a group then change the magnification shoot another group. I would check the full range of settings.
