We have done business in the passed, as many of you have,  so you know Bart is one of the most Stand up guys on here, and I am proud to call him my friend.  We had worked out a deal for My Gamo big cat for a few bucks.  He was real busy the next few days so he wasn't going to be able to get a money order, and since I don't deal in PayPal, we decided would send cash.  I had never sent cash in the mail, nor received it, and I really didn't think anything of it.  Here we are 17 days later, and we have both realized someone along the line has sticky fingers.  I understand that the mail is going cross country, but it should be here by now.  Now, I know he sent it, and he knows I never got it.  I offered to send him the rifle anyway because that's what I know he would do.  Bart declined, he's putting money towards a nice high end gun.  Like I said before, I am proud to be Bart's friend, and it really makes me feel good that he knows I didn't screw him on this deal.  I would do business with him any day of the week.  People, don't trust the postal system.  If you have to send cash, send it certified and insured.

i have bought more then 800 bucks worth of stuff off the gta classifieds since the "new" forum has been up in july...........if i have bought ANYTHING from you please answer this question.....i'm i a man of my word? and how did our deal go? thanks for any replies....i'm sure i'm 100% my word is my bond...but if you have done business with me...you know that already......bart

Bart is a stand up guy that I have done business with in the past and would again in a heartbeat! if he said he sent the money it was sent!

I've dealt with Bart and he's a great guy! I would trust him with anything. I don't know what happened here but I don't see the reason to post about this problem at all if you honestly believe he sent the money. If he said he sent the money then you can believe him. I'm sorry for both of you for this to have happened.

I'm not saying he didn't send the money, I've worked with him before too, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.  What I was saying here is that I was gonna send him the rifle anyway, cause that's what I feel like he would have done if the roles were reversed.   He said no, showing what a stand up guy he really is.   I wasn't posting a problem at all, I was posting how much of a good guy he is.  He's sent me emails asking me how my Dr appts were going and everything.   He's been more of a friend than people I have known for years.  He is a real good dude, and like I said, I would do business with him any day ofbthe week.
