I got my printer... and a headache!
brewbear:
I received my 3D printer yesterday and now I'm watching YT videos - the reason I've got the headache ???
I think what I need now is an inexpensive computer dedicated to 3D printing and a few kilos of filament. I want to try the wood filament and since the printer heads are not expensive ( https://www.anycubic.com/collections/for-vyper/products/hotend-for-vyper ) I wanted to have one dedicated to it.
It seems like 3D printing would be fun and challenging at the same time so here we go....
To be continued....
brewbear:
The first question (of many to come) is about filament. Is there a particular brand you gents use?
I am asking because after looking and reading reviews on the "zon" site and looking at myriad brands, I am thoroughly confused.
Insanity:
I use hatch box as my preferred.
Insanity:
Amazon reviews need a lot of salt to take while reading them.
brewbear:
Thank you Matt and Travis, you guys are great!
I decided for the near future to use Cura for slicing and use the .stl free files, CAD modeling to follow.
