So when one does have it mastered they tend to take pride in it. Myself included. This younger breed though..? They couldn’t care less, so long as they get their point across.
"Have a goot day"Down here in the south you hear that a lot Also a text message where a woman was wondering if she had "Die of beatys".

I have yet to hear good pronounced "goot".As for medical terms, they are quite commonly mispronounced and misunderstood without a background and / or understanding of etymology or Latin. I never fault anyone for that...it is easy to understand.

Oh I got a good one. When Grand Daughter #2 was in the 1st grade she was so proud they started learning to spell she wanted to demonstrate for me on a visit here."Grand-pa I can spell Phone, F-O-N.. phone"I smiled and said " Oh sweetie, that is close but phone is spelled P-H-O-N-E" "NO!" she said, "F-O-N"I started to explaine the "PH" makes and "F" sound and the "E" is silent when my daughter (her mother) who works at the school chimed in and said "Dad, she is right, that is what we are teaching them. They are to sound it out phonetically and use the letters that make that sound.""What, but that is wrong!" I replied. She then informed me once they learn that THEN they will start teaching them the actual spelling next year.... I just shook my head and mumbled something about "core math".

Non-accented,
Airguns are my passion.I want to share my ideas and experiences as clearly as possible. Correct spelling and grammar are necessary for that goal, though frankly that is the easy part. Finding the right words to communicate effectively is the hard part.I am humbly grateful for the many others with the same goal who came before me.
Yeah, people around here don't have an accent, it's the rest of the country. 😀🤣😅😃😆😁🤗😚😎
Yep. Like the woman from New York who went to Texas and told the cowboy he had an accent. He says "Do you know where you are?". "Yes", she says, "I'm in Texas". Cowboy says "So now who has the accent?".
