i dont live in north missouri i live in the southern part of the state,i have not found any air rifle enthusiast in missouri yet. sorry i couldnt help. but if you do please let me know..thank you..

Where at do you shoot? We could all get together and plink sometime.

I'm just getting started but will shooting the garage maybe at the local indoor range. I'm not sure of any good places right now except for the conservation ranges, but don't think that would go over very good. We could always look at some of the unsupervised ranges subject availability.

I live right by Worlds of Fun, and I found this thread looking for fellow airgun shooters in the KC area.
I would love to meet up and go shooting sometime! The 7yd range in my basement is getting old and feeling cramped :)

I've a friend at Pioneer gun club, who mentioned that they welcome air guns in their .22 games matches.

To note, pgc membership is not required to participate, its open to everyone.

From their website regarding the Brickyard
"Friday is airgun priority. This does not mean that only rifles or pistols can be fired on those days, it just means that if a shooter of the priority discipline is present, that shooter controls the range and course of fire no matter who was there first.
Brickyard is lighted, heated, and available 24 hours per day. The meeting room is not to be used for cleaning or maintenance of firearms."
If you pay their membership fee it looks like you get access to that shooting range anytime you want.
Looks promising. Nice to see someone open to airguns. May have to get myself a target friendly 22 and check it out sometime.

I have a friend that is a member of PGC. I think we are going to plan on some plinking at brickyard next (airgun) friday. I'll confirm later!

Unfortunately, life interfered, and we haven't gotten up there yet.
I'll keep ya'll posted tho! I've been there before, for firearms practice, but not for airgun fridays. Evidently, airgun fridays don't really start until October.

Long long time on this thread, wondering if life in the KC airgun area is any better. Wife is a member at PGC I can likely provide some info in that area for you guys.
Also I am looking for someone to tune and repair in the greater KC area....has anything changed....I can't find anyone.

I've just been plinking in my backyard, going squirrel hunting at public areas up north, and getting the 909s out to McBride and Brickyard a couple times - it's still not sighted in...my 90ci tank doesn't last long filling up a big bore!
As far as service or repair or tuning...I haven't found a gunsmith in the area who doesn't hang up on you when you say "air".

Rats, that has been my experience as well. I live about 5 minutes from McBride, have some land and am putting the finishing touches on my home 100yard range that will be safe for center fire rifles.
Next time you head out that way drop me a PM. I wonder if there is enough air gun interest in the area to setup our own league?.....that would be fun. Wife did membership intro for about 3 years out there, how long ago did you join?

I'm not a member, as a felon (yay for misguided youth!) I cannot own a firearm - just airguns - so I am not eligible for a PGC membership. My friend is a member, and used to shoot PPC with the KC Pistol Shooters, but they tore out the range in St Joe they used for summer matches. His grandpa built the PPC range at McBride tho!
Next time we plan to go out there, I'll drop you a PM! Might be this Sunday...I need to get the 909 ready for deer in November.

We're going to McBride tomorrow to sight in my deer rifle (sam yang 909s) and scout some deer stands in the north and south areas of mcbride.
Would love to stop by and say "Hello!" if you are going to be around!
We will most likely be there in the morning hours, and getting lunch at Bates City BBQ (i think that's the name) around noonish.

I am new here and live in Independence. I've ben taking my Hatsan and RWS 34 to Frontier Justice for zeroing then shoot in backyard.

yes I would like any help I can get from you sir. I am getting a replacement scope from crossman due to the included scope has a weird haze around the edge of the viewing optics. And I have about 150 rounds thru my Benjamin so far and am looking to getting it dialed in when I get it good and broke in. Where are you located at? I am off of N.oak&barry rd.

Let me know when you get your scope in, and I'll bring over a torque wrench, scope level, etc, and we'll get you set up. Do you have a 20yard range or so to shoot in the backyard or anything?

Hello, my name is Jim and I'm new on here, as of tonight (Dec.10, 2015)... was just reading this thread, and noticed that your from "SW. MO.".... not sure where your at exactly, however... I'm east of Branson a short drive (about 35 - 40 minutes), and I'm new in this sport as of 2013, and reliving my youth, in my retirement.
Looking to meet anyone in the area who is "Serious" about this sport (re: NOT as an "occasion" to "party"), to share and enjoy this sport together and hopefully, build on some new and solid friendships. My wife is also, keenly interested in it, and now has a couple of her own as well (Benji Disco in .22 with TKO "moderator" [and "other" internal mods, as soon as I get the parts] and one of Mike Melicks fully tuned XS12's in .22 cal also), but again... we're new at this and LOTS of learning curve ahead of us.
Would love to hear from you, and anyone else, who is in the SW. MO. area, and seriously into this sport.... an active "club" with current and onging competitive events would be GREAT to get involved in and with..... are there any in this area, at all ? Thanks, and hope to hear back as soon as your able to.

Lees Summit Missouri here, Fort Osage Muzzle Loaders started allowing air rifle at their range, its location a few miles east of Lone Jack on 50. GREAT place to shoot 0 out to 100 yards. We have had 2 air rifle matches, just getting our feet wet, we have about half a dozen shooters shooting springers and PCP's. Lets meet and I can take you out as guests and you can check our club out...OF COURSE there WILL be shooting of the air rifles involved. CMON SPRING..

Lived in Liberty back in the mid 90s, there were a couple of good gun shops around the KC area that had a good selection of airguns , don't remember much for clubs though.

Just an update the guys at Ft. Osage Muzzle Loaders are holding regular benchrest air rifle matches every month and plan one this Saturday.
Also Pioneer Gun Club is starting up air rifle matches at both McBride range and indoors at Brickyard these are mostly held on Tuesday mornings but could be changed to a Saturday event if enough interest were to develop!
