I was gonna make a o-ring bolt tip out of aluminum, on a lathe. While looking for a suitable size aluminum rod to use, I saw some blind rivets in the junk box......
Nice mod... Did it fix the problem of the bolt being blown open when fired? I know some people experience that issue, including myself, when adding power to a newer 760... Can't have an O ring covering or passed the transfer port. I've been contemplating a similar fix with a double headed nail. I never could find the right size though.
..On my crosman 2100 I cut a bit off the back of the barrel and sandwichted an 008 o-ring between the breech block and barrel.

step 3, gluing-- add glue to the out side of heat-shrink, and push the rivet into the hole in the bolt-tip (not all the way flush of course, leave about 1.5mm for the o-ring)-- let the glue dry, for at least a couple of hours.-- Lube a 003 o-ring, add to the tip.Now the 760 bolt has an o-ring and an extended tip/probe. Check to make sure the probe tip is straight; if not, bent it with a pair of pliers....-- install the bolt back into the 760 and make sure it slides in/out of the magazine ok. ** the reason for not using a more "properly sized" o-ring, such as the 004, is because the 760's magazine only allow 5mm max probe diameter, a 004 will be too large to with the mag.
Nice mod. I just plane don't have any interest in trying to get more power from my guns, but this is a great mod and probably something I should think about doing.I don't see it as a power mod because the power is already there, it's just being wasted and this fixes that.
