For you guys using peep sights. Are you able to adjust down to 10 yards? On my r1 I ran out of adjustment at 10yards,it was an inch low of target.I have the Williams fpag high line if sights and I see they also sell the fpgr for low line.Which of these are you guys using?
I can't wait to try the skeletonized circle insert in my front sight. I've used the open sights on my two Weihrauchs for a good bit before scoping them but never tried that insert. I thought it was specialized for shooting standard targets at a particular distance. I hope it works as well for me as it does for you!
All you fan boy / blatant enablers are killing me the last thing I need is another AG to explain to SWMBO. Now "Want" is another story I have been looking for another break barrel but need to thin the herd of my un used Benji 392 and Air Arms S400 .22
Bob,Yep, I used to use the weaker spectacle trick when shooting the M1A. Havent shot that in about a year now, and lost the spectacles! . Need to try that trick again with this rig. Wish the circle was just a hair smaller, but Im not complaining!I've shot traditional and primitive archery instinctively for over 30 years, and as strange as it may seem. Using this circle insert feels a lot like that. Just focus on what I want to hit, and let things fall inline and center up "naturally" with my peripheral vision, and bang, in the 10 ring. Strange, my trigger on this R7 was setup the worst of all the 10 or so Weihrauch's I've purchased. Already taken a full 360 degree turn on the front 8mm torque screw. And the second stage creep is still way too long. IMO! Other than that, which is a nonevent, "nothing burger", the fit and finish of this gun is flawless. The best one I've recieved yet.

I do like the scope only models that had the handle on the end. I'm thinking they discontinued that, as I didn't see it available. If that's the case, it looks like the only difference between the Beeman and HW's will be the stock.....and barrel length?HW30S -- 15.5"R7 ------ 13.5"Tight groups,Bob

Bob,My R7 has the same barrel length as my HW30. Yours?Suspect the advertising error was possibly an oversight and slip up from the previous models demensions without sights? So, for those keeping up with the thread, the new current R7 model with iron sights is the identical size of the HW30. The only difference is the checkering and "gold" color plated trigger and trigger weight adjusted screw.
Well so they are the same length, but the R7 has the better looking stock! That did it I placed my order for the R7 just now, I will be sitting on the front porch Thursdaywaiting for the truck!!!!! Thanks to all you enablers I will now have a fine German air rifle!!!!
So can anyone post some pic's of there new R7?I'll be tracking mine today!!!!!

What's up with that? But then I figured it out. You don't count the day you ordered Mon. , you don't count the day it goesout Tue. So I guess you should not count the day you get Fri. Wow that is only 2 Days shipping. What more could I ask for!!!!! And the shipping is free!!!!Thanks for pointing out the picture on the hunting gate.
I was surprised when my R7 showed up today. My Pyramid order page never showed my order being in two shipments and I didn't get any tracking notification on this first of the two packages. What a pleasant surprise!
