My Hatsan 95 has the Vortex ram and QE barrel shroud. It was good enough for MOC (Minute of Chipmunk) to 25-30 yards with .22 Crosman hollow points (open sights). I never scoped it to see what it could really do. Most my pesting is done 30 yards or less. I will say the bore of that particular gun was rather tight. Not really broken in, but can't tune a ram.
Guessing you've already tried VC-3, so maybe plumbers white thread tape on the pivot bolt thread to give the bolt ring more to bite on? Other option is order a complete new set from Hatsan.

Pivot screw was $4.95, and the washers were $1.95 apiece. Hopefully this will solve the barrel pivot tension issue for my Striker.
