Correction. It may be made even earlier (sn 0m05680).
Quote from: George Mann on September 25, 2021, 03:23:25 PMCorrection. It may be made even earlier (sn 0m05680).Made December 1990. Metal receiver would typically have writing cast into both halves (this became common around June 1990), this is the earliest 880 I have heard of w/plastic pump lever, diamonds on forearms, white spacers, loading port open on both sides, small diameter probe without O-ring, rifled barrel w/barrel shroud stamped "Rifled Barrel" on Right side, aluminum pump tube, and RH stock screw. Paint may have a fine metallic in it.
I’ll throw this in. I have an ANIB 880, Lot # 1D 19536. So, April of ‘91. Brass cylinder, old style bolt probe, metal receiver and plastic pump arm.
