I got some casting and shooting in with my .30 24" standard, I'm Impressed, though I did fail to lock the bolt down before firing and split the clear plastic on the mag. I'm thinking I can fab a metal one , but I rather single load as I do with my other big bores. Power and accuracy are right there , I even throttled it back a bit before testing. Was fun watching old corn cobs disappear with a blast of brown dust to amplify the events.
Now when I shoot my Challenger I keep my trigger finger on the bolt and pull the trigger with my middle finger. Haven't had a problem with it that way

Haven't had a problem with it that wayAfter I did the same thing blowing the plastic up on the mag , I did hold the bolt down while firing ,and then I quickly figured out it will not pop up once you have it in the down position ,you just have to make sure it is down till it stop's .... every time I have done this there is no problem ... The .30 challenger that another member has did the same thing blowing the plastic out on the mag from leaving the bolt open maybe we should form the challenger blow up mag club ! ...
