I have 2 Crosman 102’s, one with a steel shuttle and one with a brass shuttle. Assumption may be steel is prewar, brass is postwar. What do you guys have?

I believe mine is a newer model. 5-ring cocking knob, no screw for the repeater mechanism cover and notch rear sight.
It does however have a steel shuttle.

I think you have it right, Brass for Post war, steel prewar. I collect the 100 series 1949 variants which were built from late 1948 to 1951 (1949 was their first full year), anyway I have two 1949 variant 102's and both have brass shuttles.
