I guess I'm still a kid at heart.I look up every time. And I still enjoy bb guns.
I live in the flight path for Fort Campbell. LOTS of choppers, I sometimes even come out of the house to look up.
Round motors are the most distinctive..........
I used to work at Fort Mose State Park located a mile or so from the St. Augustine Florida airport. One afternoon I heard an unfamiliar engine overhead and looked up to see a distinctive pair of elliptacle wings and knock kneed undercarriage. I drove up to the airport after work and discovered that it was a Griffon engined Seafire FR45. The only spitfire variant I've ever seen in person. Back in those days I took pictures with a 35mm SLR. Trying to figure out how to post these photos.
