Yea, I'm surprised also. I have another back by the bait station and they didn't touch that one. I don't set them during the day because the birds get in them, so I wait till right before dark. On Tuesday around 3:00 in the afternoon I had a big raccoon trying to make off with it! He did more damage than the bears and bent the trip lever!I did get a shot at the rat just before 9:00 pm last night, I still need to upload the video and post it, it's a weird one. I've also not reviewed the scope cam footage either, but it looked like I hit him and he just rolled over DRT, then a few seconds later he just up and took off like a bat outa heck! I'm hopeing the scope cam footage might show a bit more!

No big deal, they just laid down and waited til I went out the next morning. Then I caught a racoon. He almost completely destroyed the trap. I had to make significant repairs to the trip pad, trip lever wire, and even the heavy wire around the front of the cage was bent. I'm surprised he didn't escape.
