Chinese GX compressor. I've one; it was < $300 when I bought mine but now they sit ~ $370:
, and I've been filling my higher-fill PCPs since my elbow gave me problems a couple years ago. It can be powered from either a car's 12v battery or using the inverter for 120v line voltage. Amazon has 'em

I purchased a used Bauer dive compressor.... $700 at the time and for 5 years it's been doing it's job @4500 psi. If it ever needs a rebuild its a simple job.

Like above, if you can find a used Bauer that would be ideal as they produce breathable clean air. If you don't want to spend that much then an inexpensive Chinses model like GX or Spritech off of amazon under 300, just get the longest warranty so it's a no brainer to return if need be. Oh, and get a good filter also off of amazon to produce cleaner air.

I also have the GX CS2 compressor, I just recently purchased it from Amazon. I also added the 4yr extended warranty to be safe. The compressor works fantastic, only using it to fill the guns themselves. Takes about 2min to fill my Origin 25 caliber from empty to 3200psi. Pump barely gets warm.

If only filling guns, then the GX CS2. If you plan on getting into SCBA tanks, then the Yong Heng will be quicker. It is only 120V and needs cooling water and oil changes occasionally. Others are in the same price range but parts are iffy for repairs or rebuild.

I have this one. Basically the same as the CS2 but the battery cables are not permanently attached, making the base unit smaller. It's about the size of a ream of paper. but a little taller. I like that I can just toss the battery cables into a drawer or bag until I need them. It's nice and quiet, you can easily have a conversation standing next to it. Easy to set up, easy to use. The OEM fill whip is a little short, but that was easily solved. It fills a Taipan Vet from 100-300 BAR in a little over 3 minutes.
