PA has the parts.Remember to lube the joints.
Normal operation of a favorite gun. The cocking arm ripped off like butter. Can't believe it.Arm ripped off before cocking complete. Chamber port is open, spring mostly but not fully compressed.Had the gun over a year. Not sure if warranty lasts longer than a year. I wonder where to buy a replacement and how much it costs.
You’re welcome.
My RWS 6G broke a few years ago, it too was "normal wear and tear." Guess what it cost? One hundred dollars. Had a RWS 54 scope rail break off Umarex deemed this normal wear and tear. Said the gun was unrepairable. Didn't bother to send in.
"Normal wear and tear" is utter cop-out nonsense. This is like the steering wheel of your car broke off while parking the car in your driveway - "normal wear and tear, we'll change it after we've changed the drive belt, $5 000, thank you".That being said, $100 may be the least expensive option to get the 48 back into action, depending on a bunch of factors.
Oh man. That looks like a clean transverse break on the cocking lever. As a D48 owner and fan myself, I'm baffled too how that could happen. I'm guessing an internal weak / stress point due to a manufacturing defect is the cause. What manufacturing date is your D48?Being a German gun, spare parts are available, thankfully. If the PA angle doesn't work, Waffencenter Gotha in Germany has the cocking lever available:https://www.waffencenter-gotha.de/shop/ERSATZTEILE-Spare-Parts/Luftdruckwaffen/HERSTELLER-MODELL/DIANA/DIANA-Luftgewehre/Diana-48/-Hebel-Spannhebel-montiert-DIANA-48::3764.html
