looks great in OD
Is my price to high? There was a lot of interest in these right up until I was ready to sell them. I realize that it costs as much as a new 2240. Parts and shipping are expensive. Give me your thoughts here guys!
You need to look at it as the time and effort you put into it not the end cost the customer pays. If they want it they will buy it the lego guns are a money sink to begin with so take that for what its worth.
Here is what I see, you want $80 for the lower while Buck Rail Diana kit is $73 for three pieces, the lower, the buttstock adapter and the foregrip. You gotta do what you gotta do but you are much higher than the Diana stuff.

I couldn't get his website to load.
Well a couple of things for me. First I have been waiting to see pics with the final 2250 version and second (related to the first) the 2240 version looks chunkier and frankly too chunky for my taste. The price is a little high compared to the Blueforks that I have bought, but then again they cost more now than they did back when I bought them and was just the gripframe/trigger assembly .As for others, I saw you posted about prices but, maybe they were waiting to see a post that said "send payments to ...?"
Obviously each shooter is going to have their own limit as to what they are willing to spend. I have been 3D printing for a couple years now and 3D modelling my own designs for about as long, so I'm well aware of the time and effort that goes into a project like this. It is amazing how quickly it all adds up!Personally I don't see an issue with $80 shipped for a complete trigger group and I hope to order one in the future, hopefully this summer or fall. My current issue is projects in line ahead of this project. LOL. Plus in the last few months I jumped into the PCP game and that has been consuming my time and fun money as of late. This is a very cool project regardless.
I guess I should ask bluntly: At what price point would YOU buy one? The bottom line for me is that machining and 3D printing is what pays my bills and this is not the only hobby that I make and sell things for. If the end sale doesn't justify my time and effort (which I put very little value on) I can't continue the project and will dedicate my time to something else.
