Scott, I sent the drawing for the 7mm version of the bullet we discussed to Al at NOE to ask if he could do a special run to get it ready in time.... I copied you on the email.... It doesn't hurt to ask!.... Bob
Scott I really hope you get this sorted and continue to spank those that probably cried and had that rule made.

FX just can out with a .35 caliber with an 800mm barrel, and it can do 156 ft-lb. So it probably eliminates them from the competition. The main EBR sponsor does not sell FX.I looked at the past results for EBR. At the first Extreme Big Bore match in 2015, the .308 caliber rifles took the top 3 places. At the next two match (2016 and 2017), they split it into two classes, .25-.34 caliber class and >.35 caliber class. Starting in 2018, they were changed to Production class and Open Class with a 150fpe minimum. For 2022, it's still Production and Open but 200fpe minimum. At this point in time , they don't consider a sub 200fpe gun to be an appropriate "Big Bore" rifle. It's somewhat understandable when you realize what these matches are for. Beside having fun, it's to showcase the goods that the main sponsors actually sell. Nothing wrong with that if it results in fun matches that we would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend. So I'm not mad or complaining about anything. I accept it as all part of the entertainment and challenges.
.... One other thing about the Cothran valve.... The heavier (higher SD) the bullet, the longer the dwell is....
