I'm considering getting a #16 drill bit and try to ream the end of the barrel out. It is supposed to measure .177". I have also considered a 4.5mm that would measure .1772". Would .1772 be to much to open a smooth bore?If you go this route, I would look for a high- spiral drill bit to make a smoother cut. Another GTA member, Earl, and I did our QB6's at the same time. Maybe he'll see this and refresh our memory.
I followed lefteyeshot's instructions and was successful with replacing the parts he gave me.
Thank's everyone for your help. I think I will skip the spring and leave it at 490 fps.
That may be the Canadian model that shoots at 490 fps.
I have both an American model and a Canadian model.
I think the Canadian model has a C in the serial number.
Youíd like them if you ever had to pick cotton or neuter a calf . I have a single blade MM Iíll post at some point. Believe itís the only one like it in the world.I might, but I still like what I like in a pocket knife and I think the combo I'm carrying this week might do everything a trapper would.
