Got a friend I'm gonna loan it out to this Christmas as he want's something he can do with his daughter. Not sure what distance they will be shooting and just zeroed it at 22 yds to start with. I was shooting 18 gr JSB's and didn't have time to drag the chrony out. Got a cheap chinese hand pump he can use with it. Haven't even tried it out yet. I didn't like the magazine at first, but then I thought "Hey this is simple for a beginner to use". The Marauder type magazine would be a little more confusing to them? I'm spoiled by the Kalibrgun mags! LOLIt's fun and reminds me of when I first started out with my very first Marauder. I will say it's not in the same league as either of the Marauders I've had.Jimmy;Be sure to school them on cycling the mag. If the bolt is not pull far enough to set the sear it will still chamber a pellet. Then when the bolt is pulled again it will double load. Chances are, if a double load is fired it will clip and damage the LDC (pickle). If the sear does not engage on the first attempt, teach them to pull the bolt back and remove the mag before pushing it back in to avoid double loading.I have double loaded a couple times and got lucky. Others.. not so much.Another tip would be to to use a bright colored paint marker to mark the last position on the mag. This will help to avoid dry firing the gun. A dry fire won't hurt the gun but (especially if hand pumping) it will waste air. It could also be frustrating if you are zeroed in on a critter and PFFFTTT, no pellet.

NP....Yeah, especially if loaning out the gun, you'll want to get it back undamaged.I can see an unwitting shooter pushing two or three pellets in there.

Got my Urban just now. The top of the box was cut off. USPS delivered it
... trigger was really bad. I looked at the trigger and realized the adjustment screw was missing.

No screw = no good. 🙂First I've heard of that particular quality issue. Easy fix though. Great rifle for the money! But, I don't appreciate spotty quality control.
