Crosman V-350 vs Montgomery Ward

(1/2) > >>

45flint:
Recent purchase of a lot of 2 Montgomery Ward V-350s gives a interesting contrast between the two models.  Crosman kicked it up a bit for MW.  The stock flairs at the stockís end.  Kinda cool touch.  The end sight is improved and the trigger is gold.  Lastly the stock is oak and has a better executed matte finish.

The V-350 stock is maple and the MW is oak.  I havenít seen a oak stock on a Crosman? Iím not sure I have ever seen one this curly? Elm yes

I think the stock is ash not oak.

It looks like those are of even higher quality than the Ted Williams series that Sears offered.  Very cool!

Yes looks like the Sears model had the back bevel like my maple one.  At the end of production they all had this for mine is a V-350, but mine doesnít have the improved sight, Sears does.

Pellet Fun:
Hereís my Sears V-350 variant. What type of wood is this?
