http://pbbairguns.com/product/pro-air-rifle/These are pretty sweet guns, 300-500FPE.
I would start looking at the Bulldogs, Badgers & Slayers. With the new .452 Slayer coming out you may get a good deal on a used .357 Slayer or even go buy a new one, they are in the same price point as some of the FX line of guns.
Id want one of those AAA slayers for deer if that was my goal. Im an FX fan, but for big power theres better options.
For the Price of an Impact you can get a Slayer,....now that is a super hunting gun !!
Does anyone know if FX has any plans on offering calibers larger than .30?I'd love to get an Impact or Crown for hunting deer in VA, but the min. cal. is .35
the FX does NOT have the power to hunt deer with. In any caniber. owner of NOE bullet molds has been testing, sn simply cannot get the power needed. Iven in .30, much less if they even did make a .35 can. Adn FX guns are nice, smooth, light, but far too delicate to ever make a serious big bore shooter out of any offering they have. You keep saying that the slayer is out because you want short. Are you familiar with the slayer> It is a Bullpup, light, an very powerful! It also won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at the extreme big bore in three cal's this year.
