When you don't need another but this one is so nice
bantam5s:
So you already have one that you love and really don't need another, but you find one that's very nice at a reasonable price what do you do ?
Do you pass or go for it?
Keep the new one and pass along your first one or keep them both ?
Me I'm typically a one and done kind of guy when it comes to airguns, I have my Blue streak and no desire to own another.
With the exception of the Crosman platform where the sky's the limit I typically don't go for having multiple examples of a gun unless I'm looking for a better more original example or something.

I try to avoid redundancy. So far so good. But another HW30 calls to me.
I did buy two Prods, but one is now a rifle so that doesn’t count, right?
buellm2:
If you really like it, you should buy another one in case the first one craps out for some reason.

Done it several times. Like a while back off ebay I bought a .177 Benjamin Regal NP. Nice Remington like stock with a white spacer, a full metal shroud and had a GRTIII trigger. Paid $190. Not a mark on it.
Just got another from AoA with a stock trigger and a UGT 3-9x40 lum mildot AO Bugbuster. $125 shipped. Put a Quick Shot trigger in it. Little different than a GRT. Mounted a BSA 3-9x50 mildot AO I had on the shelf. Don't care for Bugbusters. I'll probably give it to a bud at our fun shoot Saturday. Not a Mark on this one either.

I can repair any well made gun worth repairing, so I can't really use that as justification.
After all I have other guns and can shoot them while waiting on replacement parts for the gun that's down.
