5.5x5.5" or 14x14cm 5 bull paper target

(1/1)

mlhiggs49:
Good Moring all, I'm looking for a USA source for the 5.5" or 14cm 5 bull paper target for the GAMO type funnel trap. I can find tons in Europe but can't see spending $50 dollars shipping for a $3 package of paper. I know, I can print them and I have a template but I would like the real thing. I've checked eBay and Etsy and all the usual convicts. Any help would be apricated.

Might need couple extra cuts/ folds, but seems to be reasonably priced-

Thanks for the quick reply and research, but I'm looking for a 5 - bull target. All those you listed have 1 - bull. The 5's are available in Europe but not in the US .. (sigh)

If printing your own is an option, many target files here:

with "x5" and "small trap" in the file name include 5 bulls and print two targets per 8.5x11 inch sheet.  Cut the sheet in half, and you have two 5.5 inch wide targets designed to fit in the likes of the Gamo 5.5 inch square cone pellet trap. The targets are 8.5 inches tall, but are designed for the bottom bulls to be centered in the 5.5 inch square trap.  Before you shoot the top bulls, turn the target around and make them the bottom bulls in the pellet trap. You'll know soon enough if you forget the "turn it around" part.

The Gamo steel cone traps didn't hold up too well in my experience.  Another option is to build a duct seal trap from 3/4 inch plywood with a slot in the sides of the open front ("machined" with a table saw blade) 5.5 inches across measured from the insides of the slots. This allows a "full size" 5.5x8.5 inch target sheet to be dropped into the slot.  More trouble, but I found that to be a better solution than a Gamo cone trap.  Lot quieter too.
