Got a Hatsan 95, in .22 coming, pellets?

Just ordered a Hatsan 95 .22, with spring. What pellets should l have on hand to try? Got CHP 14.3, JSB 13.34 and 15.89, H&N 14.66 and some dead center 18.1 coming with the gun. Thanks, Don

Sounds like you have a good selection.  You should find something that works amongst those.  Mine likes 14.3gr Crosman Piranhas which is nice because Walmart stocks them.

That is a good selection to start testing.
Since Hatsan bores VARY A LOT from one rifle to the next, even the SAME MODEL rifles, what works well in some of my Mod95s may NOT work well in yours. Test what you have and compare results.
You may get a good one that LIKES many different pellets. If so that is a "keeper" IMO :-)

For $125 (saw that price at Pyramyd recently), HOW can you go wrong?? I was thinking of just getting another for PARTS at that price. Loving mine (Vortex model though...), great rifles. Sounds like you are GTG for testing with the selection you mentioned. Mine shoots the JSB 15.89's well, hits hard on squirrels and G-hogs.

First, clean the barrel!  Then check your stock screws! Then push a pellet through the rifle's bore.  This will tell you if you have any loose or tight areas in the bore.  Will also tell you where your choke starts.  Then start pellet testing.

   The pellets you have should be fine. The ONE thing I have noticed on a few Hatsans is a tight pellet fit. Good luck.

My Hatsans love Diana Superdomes. Ironically, the only air rifle that did not like Superdomes is my Diana 56.
