Forward heavy, It looks like the drop block is 3 pieces. Maybe a single lighter piece could be made?
Never had one of these QBs before. It was a bit strange to push the bolt forward to set the sear.

I prefer the way it comes stock, push forward to cock it. After following your posts here, I dusted off my QB collection to see what I might do to clean them up a bit. I am half tempted to tune one with a 800 psi ninja bottle in .177 and have a low power / high shot count shorty plinker. I am sure a 7-8 fpe rifle might be fun to have around the house.Cheers !
The Barra 1100Z breech should fit. Shares a lot of the QB features.
Quite the productive morning.. so far.I found the sling stud and pica rail adaptor in my parts drawer. I measured and drilled the pilot and put the stud in and attached the adaptor.Next I taped off the raw front end of the stock where I chopped it and painted the end black. While I was digging in the parts drawer I came across a carbon fiber wrapped silencer. It's not the big honking soup can looking things that I hate. It is the perfect ID for the barrel and 3 grub tighten to secure it. It matches the carbon fiber wrap on the bottle and looks great. I would guess it reduces the report by 50% or better. Loud don't really mean much to me around here.. if you don't hear gun fire around here something is bad wrong. Anyways.. have a look.. whatcha think?
I was going to drop these pic's to you in a PM. But couldn't figure out how. I originally hacked up the AR2078 stock for the bottle conversion several years ago. A friend sent me a JTS Aircuda. I could never get a good feel for the reach on the trigger with the JTS stock, just felt like my hand was too far away from the trigger. A few weeks ago I started looking and realized it would be possible to inlet the AR2078 stock for the JTS. Made the JTS way more enjoyable to shoot. I had a ton of fun messing around with the QB stuff several years ago, I'm glad the parts fell into the right hands.

I like the way it turned out.As for the other one..Looks like the aluminum end (the long end) of the valve body is broken and most of it is gone. Other than that and a stock I think, from watching videos, everything else it there to get it back up and running. There is a felt wiper supposed to be in the valve missing but I don't think that would stop the gun from functioning and one could easily be made.I also think I am going to swap barrels and bolts and change the HPA gun to .22. Seems like it has plenty of power to push a .22 pellet. I'll chrony the gun as it is first for comparison.Thank you again for the opportunity to tinker with these.

It’s just been so long I just forgot all the things I tried to do.
I will get to looking but I IR there are some valve parts in the mix I am putting together.
