I have good quality, appropriate 1" medium height scope rings. I need a scope that will hold up to the recoil of this airgun. Tight budget complicates the issue. Looking for recommendations. Thanks all.

No real experience with them on a magnum but guys say the Leapers scopes are very durable and reasonably priced.

Hammers brand scopes are also frequently suggested in springer-surviving affordable scopes. But there are no guarantees, especially with hard-recoiling springers. Some people have gone through expensive, recoil-guaranteed Leopolds etc. at an alarming rate.
I would go with the lightest mass fixed mag scope if I had to scope a Patriot. Both those features increase the odds.
