Sheridan Blue Streak repair

Hi, I couldn't resist buying a "spares or repair" Blue Streak. Mostly because I have a Sheridan repair kit that was in my toolbox and wanted to do some work. It was fun to service. It's straightforward enough, with help from a repair manual by American Sheridan guru UJ Backus and excellent Youtube videos from Northwest Airguns.
There is something satisfying about giving a rusty old leaky disregarded gun a new chance.
This one produces 10.5 ft/lbs with 8 pumps.
And the "before" photo, when it was looking for tlc, oil, gentle rust removal and a second life of plinking and being pumped up.

They might sound like a lot of work till you realize you only need 3-4 pumps for plinking.

Thank you. I don't feel like it's a big achievement though. It took me a weekend to get the job done. I think this is part of why I liked working on this gun so much. With the right tools and a good seal kit, some lubricants, sanding paper, stock oil, fine steel wool - it's easy.
I'm working on a Diana Model 50 with a leather seal. I find it a total pain. It's hard to dis- and re-assemble. I don't know exactly how to recondition the seal. It's not very consistent. It's big and heavy. Well, I guess it's a learning curve.
About the wood on Sheridans: some way or another, lots of them have really nice stocks? They must have had access to some excellent wood suppliers.
Better than Crosman. I like my fifties/sixties Crosman stocks, but they're almost always plain Janes.
This is my other Streak, and Model F.

Both nice guns, and you don't see the C02 Dan's very often.

You just can't beat walnut for a nice looking stock. I just got a later production F with what appears to be beech. All of the older Sheridans had walnut, even the straight-grained examples look better than the stained elm or ash of the old Crosmans.
