This is a detailed review so I moved it to the Airgun Review gate. Remember the gun will shoot higher at 25yds than when sighted in at 10yds. Good luck with your new Daisy! Harry
I love the daisy 1100 series rifles. I picked a black synthetic one up for 60 bucks at walmart a couple months back, and right now it is the first gun i reach for to shoot. You just can't beat it for 60 bucks. Hits hard, hits what you aim at.I gotta agree that most of the time, 10 yard zero would impact much higher at 25. But the front sight is so low on these guns, it evens out pretty good at range.
David....That gun looks like it would make a great backwoods hunting rifle ( I looked at the image of it on Amazon ) Do they come in both 177cal and 22cal ? Do they come with a composite stock too ? Thank You David for this review. My Best Wishes - Tom

My Best Wishes - Tom Tommy,This gun seems to be relatively unknown, even at Daisy It is considered a ''Powerline'', but it is not listed under such, or any other place, on Daisy's website. The identicle, l assume, rifle is listed on the Winchester sight herehttps://winchesterairrifles.com/product/rifle-1100WS/?itemnumber=991000-001 and they also show it with a synthetic stock, but it seems to be only in .177. They also show a model 500, which appears to be the same, but detuned to 500fps.I am not a backwoods hunter, although l do find myself contimplating how much money l could save if l picked off the herd of wabbits that graise through my yard, even when l'm plinking. l don't think l could pass it off as chicken and the cost of a dog house would offset the meat savings when my wife and kids figured out what l was up to. So, my two cents isn't very valuable here. IMO, the stock is too slippery, the gun too heavy, and the forearm too fat for carrying in the woods. The synthetic might be better as it may have some texture too it. The wood stock could be slimmed down by someone with woodworking skills and some type of checkering or texturing or even skateboard tape could be added.l will have more definative data regarding power and accuracy prolly Wednesday as that is when l will be home alone and can spend half an hour uninterupted with some paper and a chronograph. This gun is for sale at this time for l think 69.99 at Basspro. Cabela's is owned by Basspro, so maybe they have it too. Academy has it and the model 500 on their website, but it is more expensive there. Maybe they will price match. Thanks for the friendly words.
Very beautiful country, and too cold for me. I'm surprised the piston even moves forward at that temp.
I have the 1100WS version. I added a setscrew to make the trigger adjustable, chopped a few inches off the barrel, and slimmed down the stock. I like the lighter and slimmer version better than the heavy chunk it started as.
Is that a Chinese one, or one of the other versions
