Hey folks,
I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with slugs from NielsenSpecialtyAmmo shot from a hatsan barrel. I own the BT65 .25 and I would like to try some slugs since the rifle seems powerful enough to handle them. My BT65 shoots the 31grain Baracudas quite hot so I think it wont have problems with 34-40 grain slugs.
Who has tried these in a Hatsan(any model)? What about accuracy?

I have shot Nick's .177's in my BT65 .177
Best ammo I have used by far! the Jsb 13 grns come close but I'll buy more ammo from Nick!
I also have the Carnivore .357 that I'll be trying Nick's ammo in.

Sounds great. Can't imagine slugs beating the JSB pellets tbh., thats insane. If they would shoot a group twice the size of a JSB i'd be happy still.
Though .177 is a really hot caliber for a BT65 so slugs really seem to make sense.
Anyone else got some experience to share?
Any problems with the magazine and the length of the slugs?

Most .25 Hatsan barrels slug at just over. 254 “ at the breech end and .252 “at the choke . I’ve tried just about every slug out there including casting my own in every size from . 251” through .255” . My advise is to stick to the 34 grain JSB pellets out of a Hatsan barrel . If you’re absolutely dead set on shooting slugs save your pennies and have a TJ’s barrel installed in .250/243.

I believe the JSB 34grains are pretty much unbeatable out of the BT65, but I would still like to try a slug for its higher BC, just for kicks.
Is the accuracy of the .250 slugs inacceptable from a BT65?

I'm shooting NSA 34 gr. .25 slugs out of my Bull Boss, good accuracy out to 75 yards , furthest I have tested to date.

It's great to see the good reviews about the Nielson slugs like this. I recently ordered the 23 and 28 grainers for my .22 SPA M16.
