Mine are great.Thank you for the feedback. How far have you shot it out to and what were the results? Also, I see you have a nice bushnell on yours. I do not have any springers yet. I read that on springers you should not put regular rifle scopes on. How do you determine if a particular springer will harm a regular scope? Thx.At fifty yards, I have headshot a few squirrels. On a good day, no wind, it does about 1/2" at forty. The Bushnell, I found it on sale and figured if it could withstand an AR, it should hold up on a springer. 15,000 rounds later, I feel pretty good about my choice. I don't see how the SBD could possibly be better than the original NP2 system. The pellet hitting at forty is louder than the gun!! The sight question, not all variants have rear sights but they only use one SBD for them all. Also, unlike the NP2, the SBD is NOT removable. Just the cover comes off for cleaning.

i can vouch the Bushnell 4-16x40 IR clamshell packaged (hard to open without scissors) works great so far 900 pellets in my NP2 Phoenix, nicknamed it "Mighty Mute Mule" after new gas piston and seal made it shoot great.
Nice shot groups Fletcher !!! Do you know the distance across the pool that the target was shot at ? Good Shooting & Best Wishes - Tom

Nice shooting! Saw that rifle in the new catalog I just got....and since I just sent my XL in for return...I'm debating what to swap it for now...hmmm. That's a big barrel!! Have you taken it out of the stock to see what it looks like? Curious if it has the same trigger as the XL.
