That seems like quite the prize. The price is already getting up there. It'll be interesting to see where it ends up.

Reminds me of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with host Marlin Perkins. Only us old folks will know what I'm talking about.
-
I remember the show well. I have no idea what it will sell for, either.
-
I can see why it’s in good shape, how often would you use it? I’ve seen the Crosman version.
-
Cool!
I am sure it's ultra rare.
Weren't the Sheridan PaintBall markers .50 cal?
I have often thought about searching out one of those.
-
Here’s the Crosman

"BE CAREFUL JIM!!! ... THAT was close!!" ;D
Cheers,

I always remembered Marlin setting in the Land Rover or Helicopter while Jim was doing the dirty work. ;D ;) :o
-
Ya, Jim was like Tonto. Go to town, get your butt kicked, do the work while the Lone Ranger (Marlin) got the credit. I got the whole DVD set for Father’s Day. I remember watching that, the Beverly Hillbillies and Walt Disney on Sunday nights. Gunsmoke was in there too. Which I watch at lunch every day.

I think the K series were chambered for the standard .50 caliber.

Can you believe they wasted beautiful wood like that on a dart gun that is probably only viewed as a necessary tool by either farmers or veterinarians? Wow!
-
I have had a few dart guns over the years. I did shoot patched .490 round balls from a couple of them just for kicks. I lubed the patches a little and loaded them like a muzzle loader making sure not to push the bullet past the transfer port. Mine were co2 and would push the ball out fast enough to smack a tree at 20 yards or so. It would bounce off but it was fun. A Sheridan should shoot pretty strong. Good memories.
