JSB Monsters, huh? I have to look in to that...but for now I've got that baby doll scoped (4-16x40 CenterPoint) and dialed in at 50 yds, getting about 53 fpe thru 24 or so shots....I'm very impressed with this older girl putting out like that. I love my Korean rifles for sure!!..she had been well taken care of....So, I'm going to enjoy shooting nickels at 50yds with the EJ 28.5's for now but, I'll be looking to see what she'll do with those Monsters as hunting season approaches...thanks for all the input fellas
I am using JSB Jumbo Monster's (25.39 grain) in mine. They are very accurate and powerful. I just got a new Chronograph so I will be collecting some data soon when the summer weather breaks!Thurmond
Darrell, if/when you get a chance, you should try out the JSB Ultra Shocks. They too are 25.4g & expand better than any other mass produced hollowpoints I've used. I shot them out of my Rainstorm somewhere in the 47-50fpe range. The Ultra Shocks are on the right in the bottom picture.
Those Shin Sung Career barrels have always been great. With the kind of power you should really try the 34gr JSB monsters
Hey Pepe, how did your gun like the Monsters?? Did you get the Diabolo skirts or trash can? I ordered 4 tins of the Diabolo for my Galation .22 super excited. Best of Luck Brother Man
Great guns, and crazy accurate with JSB Monsters, too. It'll reach out better than most of my other .22s. Shot this group of 8 at 143 yards accord to my range finder. I think I pulled the one upper right.
Darrell, all the pellets shown (28g Eun Jin, 19g Hunter Extreme, 25g Ultra Shocks), were fired into a bullet box lined with a piece of 5/8" belted rubber on the 45° back wall.
