P-rod not firing

I have a Benjamin p-rod that will not fire. When I go to shoot it I only hear a puff of air. It is still holding charge at 2600 psi. I have a sinking suspicion it is holding two or more pellets in the barrel (my wife was shooting it at the time) and I can't run them out of the barrel. Ideas?

Make certain it's on safe and cock it then push a cleaning rod from the muzzle to the open chamber.

If you're sure the bore is obstructed with 3 or more pellets(two should have shot out) Then I'd remove the shroud, breech, then barrel from the breech.
Lock the barrel in a vice with either some form of wrap to keep the barrel from being marred or better yet a set of UHMW vice jaws with groves for round objects. With the barrel firmly held, I'd use a 3/16 brass rod and tap out the pellets, breech to muzzle. with 3 or more in there, it might take a bit of whacking, never had to remove that many myself...

Unfortunately I do not have a degassing tool. Could the breach and barrel be removed without depressurizing the gun? I'm new to pcps

Yes you can remove the breech and barrel without airing it down. You can also de gas by attaching fill source. Fill the line to where it cracks the fill port open (you'll hear it click or see gauge react when it opens) and then barely open the bleed screw until you hear air slowly leaking. You'll have to manage the screw while it bleeds as the pressure drops but it's easy enough. Good luck with you project and be safe

Yes, you can remove the breech, barrel and shroud without de gassing.
The two front breech screws that go thru the breech, then air tube and thread into the valve are NOT part of the valve retention, so no safety issue removing these two screws with air in the tube.
Remove the shroud, then the four breech screws. when you lift off the breech, you have the transfer port and TWO rubber seals on it that may fall out. From here you need to loosen the barrel set screw then slip out the barrel.
When you reassemble, put the two transfer port seals on the transfer port. With an empty magazine in the breech, slip the barrel in, now insert the transfer port so barrel port, breech hole and transfer port are aligned. lock down the barrel set screw. This way, the barrel depth for the magazine, and transfer port alignment are all set when you lock the set screw.
With the transfer port in the breech, carefully line up the transfer port with the exhaust port on the valve, hold the breech to air tube until you get the 4 screws at least snugged down so neither transfer port seal gets out of position.
Replace the shroud and you should be all set.
