I added my own twist, I put a groove in the pvc and added an o-ring to make sure the air goes thru the filter and not around. I only added 1 o-ring so the air can still equalize and hopefully not crack the pvc. I am going to test it out tomorrow. I am running it on a Altaros booster with an old 40 gallon single stage shop compressor.
I went the cheap and easy way on my filter. I think Shultz had posted someone just cut a section of a cheap plastic cutting mat for kitchen use and taped it together I am trying this approach along with about the 1 inch sections of white filters on the ends. I am just really trying to not over think this filter mod. I am wondering about how to store the leftover zeolite and am thinking about storing inside ziplocks in the freezer where there is very very little humidity. Anybody think the cold from the freezer will hurt the zeolite?
Anyone find high pressure fittings that convert from the metric on the filter to NPT, 1/8" or 1/4"?
