@NikomanI have to get around to tuning the Hurricane.I want to check the ends of the spring to see if they need to be deburred. I read that some of the wicked recoil is due to the spring torque when the ends of the spring can't slide.
FX Independence 25cal by far .... I have more fun with that air rifle than any other .... My TX is nice and all but she'll never out shoot the Indy .... PeaceKelly
Time to throw a red headed stepchild into the mix of european artistocrats. My down to one rifle favorite is my $109.00 Storm XT. After a complete tune, reworked trigger, and just about every upgrade possible, it's a point and shoot one hole rifle, and will do it all day long. Never loses zero with the stock scope, and after refinishing in a heavy gloss and a tiny bit of shine added to the buttplate actually looks pretty nice. Steady and consistent 14.7 fpe. Has hit 17 fpe with a hotter spring, but the E3650 gives just about a perfect twang free shot cycle, so it stays. Second would actually be my 91 Diana 48/52. Refinished and fully rebuilt as well and pretty much a laser. The side cocking and short pull though make it less fun and comfortable to shoot than the Storm. Ignore the junk scope used for testing. Has a CP4x16x40 AO on it now.
I know it may sounds odd but If you were to ask me what is my most accurate that would differ from favorite. Most accurate would beYes, I do have other guns that are not daystate that i favor as well. Just too lazy to take pics lol
My other choice was a Rapid but with Theoben UK no longer around I'll have to get something else.
